It's the Friday arvo of the long weekend. Yay! I'm off to the Gold Coast to be with the fambam. The look for today is comfort, casual and slightly preppy. Comfy because I'm rushing from work and I can't be bothered dressing up too much. Preppy because you never know who you're gonna meet when travelling. ��
Freshwater beach! Another beach day another OOTD. Only, I forgot to take my OOTD. Will have to settle with this is photo with my sarong. Ha!
Friday after work, rushed home to get changed for after-work dinner and drinks. Quick change for an easy outfit.
Another beach day, and today's choice is Balmoral Beach. Found this monochrome crochet which I've never worn before. Surprisingly very easy to wear, paired it with khaki shorts and voila!
Off to dinner with The Siegas, I was too last to try to be creative with an outfit. Thus, my fail-safe outfit would always be a neutral top paired with a dark wash pair of jeans. The high heels were just for that extra oomph. Happy Friday!
Another hot day today. Went to JO's church and visited some friends for lunch. I don't exactly like how this outfit came out. I feel like the skirt makes me look frumpy and even more short. Maybe binning this dress after today.
Trips to the beach. Something an Aussie summer will never be complete without.
In search for coffee, New Year's Day brought us to the Armoury Wharf Café in Newington. The only place nearby that was open this day. The weather was slightly overcast, however my eyes looked ridiculously raccoon-like hence the sunnies. Easy, cruisey, sleepy day this feels like.
That age old adage with women where you have a wardrobe full of clothes yet the perpetual problem of nothing to wear. That's me, alright. In order to fix this 'problem' (and the fact that I'm quickly running out of storage space, I have decided to make 2014 a year of no buying clothes! Big call but that is the challenge. I've got plentiful accessories so I'm hoping that will help with changing up various looks. I've even got clothes with their tags on! So I am going to make myself wear those clothes otherwise it is going in the Charity Bin. There is a fine print to this challenge though: it doesn't apply to bags, shoes and accessories, and for special occasions (such as weddings and the like). Good luck to me!
